Growing up in the UK Pony Club saw Deb compete in multiple disciplines; Showjumping, Dressage, Fox Hunting and putting it all together latterly as an avid (horse triathlon) event rider and adrenaline junkie.
Climbing the corporate ladder in the UK left little time for her horse passion and after her daughter Magdalene was born, she and husband Jon decided to make a big change and pursue their life dreams - opening their real estate practice in the US in February 2004.
Horses are now a daily part of her life balanced with her real estate practice. Deb has immense joy as daughter Magdalene, a top junior event rider in the US, shares her love of developing horses and competition. They’ve been riding and training together since Magdalene was 4. Deb currently owns an Oldenburg event horse - Magdalene’s first horse now happily retired and in his new role as “Guardian of the Girls” (Mares). After a lifetime riding English Style Deb now has added another string to her horse bow - taking up Western Riding and has a new horse a wonderful “Reining Cow Horse” - Shine on Diamonds aka Coal.
Deb served for three years as the USEA Area 1 YR Coordinator for New England and New York, and proudly oversaw the Area 1 Young Rider Team sweep the North American Youth Championships with Team Gold in 2016 and 2017. Deb has been a guest speaker multiple times at Lendon Gray’s Dressage 4 Kids Weekend Education Program and volunteer across Area 1 events.
